HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Andrew Campbell and Owen Gray for completing Ironman Cozumel yesterday! Andrew overcame a bad crash on his bike just 4 weeks ago in which he broke his collar bone and had it surgically repaired. (Think screws in bone folks!!) To be able to finish an Ironman let alone in 10:48:56 is an amazing achievement! BTW, Andrew swam a 1:01:15. Wow!

Meanwhile Owen became a first-time Ironman in impressive fashion with a 13:16:51! Owen is one of a handful of Clydesdale PacWest athletes to become an Ironman. Owen trained so hard for the race that I was questioning whether he still qualified as a Clydesdale! =) We’re all so damn proud of you Owen!

We also wanted to congratulate pro women and PacWest friends, Tyler Stewart and Kristin Iavarone. Both swam with us on Sunday mornings leading up to the race. Tyler Stewart, a former Ironman champion, had an incredible race and took 2nd overall yesterday.
