PacWest Shines Twice in Santa Cruz Yesterday
[Photo (l to r) Coach Jay Ridgeway, Alex Barros and Ollie Ralph]
Despite the cloudy weather that eventually lead to rain showers by early afternoon, PacWest athletes made an impressive showing and shined brightly at both the 29th Annual Santa Cruz Triathlon and the Mermaid Santa Cruz Triathlon & Duathlon. Both were held simultaneously yesterday in different parts of the Santa Cruz/Capitola area.
The PacWest women were the most impressive with three (3) 1st and three (3) 2nd places in both races combined. Wow!
Congratulations also to our gents who also put in some very solid performances amongst some stiff end of the season competition.
Go PacWest!!
