Congratulations to our badass female ultramarathoners, Kara Teklinski and Dana Katz! Both not only survived the grueling Sierra Nevada Endurance Run 50-miler, they also kicked everyone’s butt too!

Kara was the 6th overall female and won the 30-39 age group division with an impressive 11:29:04. Dana was not far back with a 12:18:12 which was good enough for a 4th place in the 30-39 division and 9th overall female.

No word yet if there were a couple of Western States 100 qualifying spots earned. Ladies?

Kuddos also go out to Falk Gottlob (Kara) and Brian August (Dana), the significant others of each lady, for being their support crew throughout the race. Nice work gentlemen.

But back to the ladies…AWESOME JOB KARA AND DANA! Enjoy your well earned recovery!
