Santa Rosa 140.6 Training Camp – July 7-8

1 March 2017 No Comment

Wrap Up Your Santa Rosa 140.6 Peak Training

This is our second Santa Rosa training camp of 2017 and it specifically targets Ironman 140.6 on July 29. This 1.5 day camp is purposely 3 weeks out from race day and intended to be your final weekend of peak training before your three week taper period.

It is important to note that this new race has a significant separation between T1 at Lake Sonoma to T2 in downtown Santa Rosa. This in turn creates sizable logistical challenges when wishing to train on the actual race course: swim, bike and run.

Our comprehensive camp factors in all aspects of the race and provides a first-class experience designed to allow you to focus solely on your training and nothing else.

Camp Highlights

  • Host hotel for one night only Friday, 7th-Saturday 8th in Healdsburg, CA
  • Full participant and bike transport services to Lake Sonoma from hotel
  • T1 clinic followed by open water swim in Lake Sonoma Friday late afternoon
  • Optional group dinner Friday evening in Healdsburg (location TBD)
  • Ride full 140.6 race course Saturday
  • Full SAG (support and gear) services during ride
  • Secure bike storage at T2 during brick run Saturday
  • Aid station support along run course
  • Sports nutrition product (energy food and drink) provided
