Your ultimate prep for Santa Cruz triathlons

Purposely a few weeks from Ironman 70.3 and Santa Cruz Triathlon, this 1.5 day camp assists you in learning how to tackle the most challenging parts of the the courses. The first being open water ocean swim around the famous Santa Cruz Wharf. The second is the out and back 25/56 mile rides up the gorgeous Pacific Coast Highway. Finally, run the key parts of the 10k or half marathon courses. The PacWest coaching staff will also share details on how to fly through your transitions between swim to bike and bike to run.

As always, we factor in all aspects to make your training camp experience the highest in quality at the best value so you can focus on one thing only and that’s train!

Camp Highlights

  • Host hotel for one night only – Saturday, 25-Sunday 26 in Santa Cruz, CA
  • Secure bike storage at transition area during swims and runs Sat and Sun
  • T1 clinic followed by open water swim and long run Saturday afternoon
  • Group dinner Saturday evening in Santa Cruz (location TBD)
  • Second open water swim followed by 25 or 56-mile bike course and short brick Sunday
  • Full SAG (support and gear) services during ride
  • Aid station support along run course
  • Sports nutrition product (energy food and drink) provided

Host Hotel


Bike Transport & Storage Services

Camp participants will travel with their bike and equipment to the host hotel Saturday. For those needing their bikes transported to and from the camp, please notify us to coordinate pick up before camp.

What to bring?

We’ll send out a check list to all registered participants.

  • $140 for PacWest Annual Members
  • $175 for non PacWest Annual Members
