Since 2002, PacWest has been successfully coaching athletes training for half and full marathons. Designed to support both the beginner runner and the veteran marathoner, our proven program provides a comprehensive training plan tailored toward a featured race event. Plans provide three training levels: performance, competitive and race. Our programs include the utilization of on-line training tool, TrainingPeaks.com. Each registered athlete is setup with an account and provided full access to an on-line personal training log, nutrition tracker, reporting with graphics and GPS/training device uploading
Unlike other club programs, PacWest is truly a Bay Area wide organization. Registered program participants have access to multiple regional coached sessions including one (1) track and one (1) boot camp workout per week. Additional workouts are led by team captains or other group members. Special clinics are provided during the training season including running biomechanics, injury prevention, endurance and race day nutrition.
Year-round running club. PacWest members who are not registered for a seasonal training program still enjoy access to select weekly workouts, partner discounts and team social activities. These members remain part of our RunPac Google Groups team account (no TrainingPeaks.com or training plan). Active members are able to share information and communicate directly with each other throughout the year.
