Greetings!
This Month's Tip: BALANCE. PacWest is a
strong
proponent of finding balance between life and physical
fitness. And this month our newsletter features the
recent trials and tribulations of training for and
completing San Diego's Rock n' Roll Marathon. On June
1st, we saw many individuals on the marathon course
that were truly inspirational.
We admire each and every one of them for just being
out there, for they too have managed to train and
compete despite having families, mortgages, jobs, etc.
Achieving balance does not equate to running 26.2
miles, rather it means we should never stop trying to
strive for something to accomplish. Find your balance.

RunPac Update: A big congrats to all RunPac
members who just completed the Rock n' Roll
Marathon in San Diego. However the fun does not
stop here. Next on the agenda: The Chronicle
Marathon, Half-Marathon and
Relays (July 27) and the inaugural Treasure
Island Half Marathon (August 15).
In addition, PacWest will start core strength training for
all Fall marathons, including St. George, Utah
(October 4), Chicago (October
12), New York (November 2) and the US
Half Marathon in San Francisco (October 19)
TriPac Update: TriPac team continues to train
hard and have fun during these final weeks before
event day: San Jose Mt. Bike "Sprint" Triathlon
(June 21) and the San Jose Int'l "Olympic"
Triathlon (June 22), not to mention other
local "Tri 4 Fun" events in the summer! Please
stay tuned next month for results and info on other Fall
triathlons the team is gearing up for.
And Remember, whether you're interested in
just staying in shape, training for short distances (5K,
10K, 12K) or long (half, full marathons), or attempting
your first triathlon (Sprint, Olympic, or Half Ironman),
please feel free to "drop in" for a workout and find out
if PacWest is for you. We're confident you'll at least
enjoy our sense of humor!
